Job Description: Backend Engineer - Python

Responsibilities

• Build, own & maintain backend infrastructure
• Launch ML based data models into production
• Design and implement database and storage solutions that fit the need for both data transaction & reporting
• Build highly scalable and robust backend architecture ground up
• Test, debug and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Excellent ability to prioritise & communicate in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in working on backend platforms using Python
• Strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL)
• Strong familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB)
• Working knowledge of API development for mobile/ web use
• Contributions to open-source are a plus
